Message: Currently no, just subit a feature request to http://ampache.org/bugs for it, it is definitely possible. However be aware that I still don't have internet at home, so I can't really do any work for the time being. I hope to have internet soon, but I'm d not too optomistic :( I think I'm going to have to have France telecome come out again and look at the line....

I was to follow these instructions, but I found out it works correctly now... I deleted all the cookies I had that concerned Ampache, and all of a sudden, it works everywhere! So I changed the session name in the configuration file to make sure all computers that will be accessing the server that had been using the old server won't be experiencing the same problems. So far so good!
vollmerk wrote:Albums of the moment will only load if you have album art, however if the icons on the left hand side don't do anything, I have a feeling you are missing the prototype.js file (which was not included in some versions of the ubuntu packages). It is included in the .tar.gz obtained from Ampache.org
I had album art embedded in all the mp3s, as well as a folder.jpg present in all directories, so that was not the issue. I did try the repository method, but only after my usual way ot getting the tar.gz file failed to work.
vollmerk wrote:I'm confused by what you mean by the play icon, do you mean the + or the little orange antenna thing, the + only adds stuff to the playlist by default. If you want the plus to add AND play the music you will need to go into the preferences --> playlist --> playlist method --> send on add
I meant the orange antenna thing. When I clicked on that icon, a red X like the one used to clear the playlist was added at the end of the list of tracks to play. I should've made a screenshot when it failed to work, now I can't (but I'm happy about it though!!).Thanks for you help - and to all others that helped too!Bob
