Based on the user/system threshold for recent statistics, a user can create a pre-built playlist from the recently added tracks in the last xx days (where xx is the threshold). (Cuts off a lot of clicks trying to build this playlist manually from the statistics page…)
An addition to this idea is a commandline script in the /bin folder that does the same thing—allowing users to have an automated cron job that runs after a catalog update (or in conjunction with) to build a playlist from the just-added tracks. (Possibly the threshold could/should be tweaked to either a day, or to only create a playlist if the catalog update actually found anything to eliminate a mess of duplicate playlists.)
