Description

Hi everybody,

first of all this is great product, thanks for that.

I'm wondering how I can connect my pocketpc with windows Mobile 5.0 as a streaming client, to the Ampache server. I'm able to connect to the website, but the controlls are not working. Is it possible to use any kind of software? Thanks

No idea, what software are you trying to use when streaming and what part of ampache doesn't work?

Ok,

I'll try it a different way. I use Mobile Internet explorer and connecting to the Ampache logon page. Aft I#ve logged in (works fine) I'm not able to use any controlls, e.g. add a song to the Playlist. When pushing nothing happens. The view is allmost not usable (scroll nightmere). So, my question is: is there a view available for pda, where all the functions from the website are working? Or is there may a possibility the connect some kind of mobile mediaplayer directly to ampache and play a predefined Playlist?

I've try almost the same thing. I would like to use a PDA as a remote control. I would use local play on my server in which I'd plugged a FM transmitter. I could then turn on any radio in the house and change the songs using the PDA.

I had th same problem, control were not working. I suppose it is a bad (or inexistant) support of Javascript. It was a few months ago, but if I remember well, it was a little bit better wth a PDA version of Firefox.

If anyone have some clues!

Bill

Hi Bill,

You're right. With "minomo" is it working, just the scrolling, is kind of thick...!

I'm looking forward of any clues too!

Cheers
