Purdyk has released an updated version of Amdroid. The pool of people working on Amdroid is growing, so expect more updates to come. Grab it off the market now.

a new version of Ampache Mobile the Palm mobile application for ampache has been released. You can find more information on bjgeiser’s blog. There has also been an update in the iAmpache application which appears to have resolved most, if not all of the issues users were experiencing.
There has been some progress made on Ampache 3.6.0. Hopefully I will be able to release an Alpha sometime in the next month or so.
Ampache Mobile (WebOS Client)
When it rains it pours. I was contacted by Bryce who has also created a Palm Pre client for Ampache, but had been waiting to release until he’d gotten a few more features done. My recent post has prompted him to throw it out into the public eye. It’s yet another amazing interface, and great way to access your personal music collection from anywhere you’ve got celluar service. Check it out!

Ampache on the Palm Pre & Android Client Updates
A new native Ampache client for the Palm Pre called AmpachePre has been released by fain. It looks pretty impressive. Those of you with Palm devices should check it out, great way to access your music on the road.
Not to be outshown, the Android client Amdroid has been seeing some 3rd party updates Hopefully these will soon be integrated into upstream, but if you can’t wait go ahead and check them out.
People are constantly asking where the Iphone client is. You can find the latest copy of code I have at amphone.ampache.org. This code does not work, however it should be a good start for someone who wants to flush out a Iphone client for Ampache. Once that’s done the only remaining market would be the creation of a Windows Mobile client, any takers?
Ampache on the Slimserver
Give them an API and they will come… Robert (Flemming) just announced a plugin for directly interfacing Ampache with SqueezeCenter. He’s also found and helped fix numerous bugs in the API, so an all around good guy. You can find his original announcements on the ampache forums and the slimedevices forums. The plugin itself is located at code.google.com/p/ampache/squeezecenter for those too lazy to click through to his announcements.
As previously mentioned there are numerous bugs in the Tagging aspects of the 3.5 API. As such I will hopefully be releasing 3.5.1 this weekend which will include those fixes.
