All Good things come to those to wait. iAmpache a native Ampache client for the iPhone has just been released to the Appstore through the blood, sweat and tears of “Uber” Brady Wetherington and Christopher Vallozzi, of Bespin Corp. For those of you with iPhones check this new app out. If you haven’t setup your copy of Ampache to use the API yet you can find instructions on the Ampache wiki. This application completes the triad of mobile platforms. There are now ampache mobile applications for the iPhone, Android and Palm all for the love of music. Enought chatter, on to the pictures.

This is great news…… Time to party!!!
This app is awesome! great work!
Looks awesome but I can’t seem to get it working on my iPod Touch 3G (firmware 3.1.3, not jailbroken) at all. It opens the application, says I need to enter a server then displays only the background with no buttons. Is this strictly iPhone-only?
I would recommend contacting the developers through http://iampache.com
@Eric
Eric, if it’s saying that you need to enter a server, you most likely have to go into the standard iPod Touch settings… there should be another option added to the end. Go into there, and you can program in your server/user/pass. This should take care of it.
This app works great for me!!! (once i fixed some bad tags on my music that is)
I’m using a Blackberry Storm. do you have a project to do the same for Blackberry ?
Thanks a lot
Unfortuantly not. I don’t even think anyone has started work on it either. Can the blackberry storm play the URLs from the m3us provided by Ampache? (that’s the first step to see if the device could even support Ampache)
