| 05.21.2010 Ampache Mobile now with Video support |
BJGEISER Is a machine. Ampache Mobile 0.9.4 is out this version includes Video streaming support along with a large number of other amazing features. I highly recommend you check it out if you’re a Palm device user. Along the mobile front The Amdroid-H and Amdroid developers have teamed up so we can expect to see more updates for the Android app within days. I apologize that development has been slow I blame real life. In my absence flowerysong and cslamar have been taking up the slack with patches and management of the themes section respectively. I hope that over the next few months I’ll be able to dig back into the code. There is also an Amarok Google Summer of Code student who is working on improving the interaction between Amarok and Ampache so there should be some exciting new things in that area as well. I’m also planning an overhaul of the main Ampache.org website, I just haven’t decided what I want it to look like yet, but as part of that I hope to add some more dynamic / ampache / last.fm integration features. We’ll see… Last but not least there are a whole slew of amazing new themes That you can either download directly from the site or check out of svn at svn.ampache.org/contrib/themes - |

| 02.20.2010 Sourcetrunk Podcast Review |
Dimitri over at Sourcetrunk has done a review of Ampache, as well as some might tasty sounding beer. For those of you new to Ampache, or even the old time users check it out you might learn a thing or two. Sidenote – some of you may have noticed that I’ve switched bug trackers yet again this time to FlySpray. I only moved over the bugs that still seemed to apply, as I had let the old list rot. I will try to keep the new list a little more ship shape.
